Actionaid
I was employed at ActionAid Sweden from 2016 to 2021, where I assumed various roles including Coordinator, Operational Manager for the national fundraising team, and ultimately, Campaign Manager. As a Campaign Manager, my responsibilities spanned a diverse spectrum, encompassing project leadership for campaigns and events, art direction for campaigns, and content creation.
These images are from a P2P-campaign that I project led at the same time as I acted as operational Art Director and content creative. The video below is edited by me.
8 march - iwd
Brief / Case
The International Women's Day should be one of the main days for ActionAid Sweden to be both visible, stand up for change and strenghten the brand of being one of the leading women's rights NGOs in the world.
Solution
For two years, I served as the project leader and operational Art Director for ActionAid's International Women's Day (IWD) activations. During both years, I organized a manifestation to protest against men's violence against women and to raise awareness among the general public. To ensure our visibility, we utilized traditional mannequins, which we spray-painted in ActionAid's distinctive red color. We then handwrote various powerful messages based on real-life stories from women who had been supported by ActionAid in some capacity. Additionally, we compiled video footage to complement the mannequins and bring the stories to life. As part of the event, we also invited speakers, singers, and dancers to perform.
#metoo
Brief / Case
No brief existed, 2017 the #MeToo hashtag went viral around the world. Millions of women came forward as witnesses sharing their expreiences of sexual violence and harrasment. This film I created was a personal initiative and was a act of frustrations and me wanting to let womens voices be heard even higher.
Solution
In some hours we collected stories from dancers all over Sweden and called for a film session in a blackbox. This actually became the first video I ever filmed or edited and it resulted in 50 000 views on Facebook. This video later became a three part serie with different perspectives on the matter.
